Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pebbloom handles information in version 1.0 of the app.
Your task data
Pebbloom is local-first. Your tasks, reminders, life-planning data, and Pet World progress are stored on your device. Pebbloom 1.0 does not require an account and does not operate a Pebbloom backend or cloud-sync service.
Screenshot to Tasks
When you choose Screenshot to Tasks, text recognition is performed on-device using Apple system technologies. Pebbloom does not upload your screenshot to a Pebbloom server for OCR.
Import, export, widget, and sharing
You control when data leaves the main app. Export creates a file that you choose how to share or store. Import reads a file you select. The widget and share extension use the app's private shared container on the device so Pebbloom features can work together.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Pebbloom uses Apple's local notification APIs to deliver reminders you create. Notification permission is requested only when needed.
Advertising and consent
Pebbloom uses Google AdMob to display ads, including native, banner, app-open, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, consent choices, ad interactions, and diagnostic information, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.
Pebbloom uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required to collect and manage consent choices. Google Consent Mode is enabled so eligible consent choices can be interpreted for advertising and analytics storage. The app does not intentionally send the text of your tasks or OCR source images to AdMob as ad-request content.
Analytics and crash diagnostics
Pebbloom uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand aggregate app usage, such as feature opens, task creation or completion events, template use, OCR flow completion, Pet World entry, and rewarded-ad flow outcomes. Pebbloom does not intentionally send task titles, notes, OCR-recognized text, screenshots, imported/exported file contents, or email addresses as Analytics event data.
Pebbloom uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and non-fatal diagnostic information. Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, relevant application state, device and operating-system information, app version information, installation identifiers, and developer-defined diagnostic events. Pebbloom does not intentionally attach task text, OCR text, screenshots, or other user-authored content to Crashlytics logs, custom keys, or user IDs.
Rewarded ads
Some optional or gated actions use rewarded ads. These include Screenshot to Tasks, optional Pet bonuses, and data import/export. The exact availability and fallback behavior depends on the feature and whether an eligible ad can be shown.
Tracking
Pebbloom does not proactively request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission unless a shipped feature requires it. Advertising and analytics behavior may vary depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and Google service configuration.
Children
Pebbloom is a general-audience productivity app and is not specifically directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy when Pebbloom's features, SDKs, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
